Educator of the Month
Amy
Nunley...kindergarten teacher at Cason Lane Academy
What made you
decide to become a teacher?
I love children and my passion is to teach
them and get them an early start in education, hopefully
to create lifelong learners.
What do you
enjoy most from working with students? See
the light bulb go off when they finally master
something, and they can put it to use in their everyday
life and they have a sparkle in their eye because of it.
What are the
achievements for which you are most proud?
This is my fourth year teaching, so I feel very
proud that I have gotten four years of children off to a
good start.
What would you
like to accomplish before retiring? I
would like a chance to help new teachers coming in.
To help them get started off in their careers and help
to keep that passion going for them.
Congratulations Amy Nunley, kindergarten teacher at
Cason Lane Academy!
